Welcome. Wandering Lens is the collection of works from photographer and audio engineer Kelsey Wood. Specializing in fine art and nature photography, Kelsey travels the world seeking out his photographs.
I recently hung some photos from South Africa in a Pizza joint in Seattle called Snoose Junction. The photos were recieved very well, and the feedback I got was great. I have recently opened up an oline store at wanderinglens.etsy.com. All photos are thirty percent off the hanging price.
Also recently, I made a decision to remove the annoying google ads from my site, and replace them with items from my etsy.com store. Hope you like it.
Happy Holidays!!
I've recently put up a gallery of just my panoramas. You can check them out here.
I've also put up a new portfolio from South Africa and Nepal here.
And, there's a new section to the web page called Sound with my audio and video portfolios.
Enjoy!
My project in South Africa is finished, and I've returned to the United States. Now I begin the daunting task of figuring out what's next. I've got some ideas, and as always, ambitions and dreams. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Coming soon you will see the last few photo galleries from South Africa that I haven't posted yet. I'm also working on a short documentary which should be ready later this year. I will also be releasing video clips and interviews from some of the schools I worked at in South Africa. First, it's time to prepare to be an uncle, and go visit my sister who's about to give birth. Congrats Erica.
So far so good. I'm really happy with the new site design. It's opened up a world of possibility, and I will continue to improve on it in the future. My South Africa and Nepal galleries are live, and the others will come soon. I'm actively posting on my blog again as well. Feel free to leave comments on my blog or email me.
I'm excited to finally launch my new website. My photo galleries and blog were getting too large to manage with my old system, so I've integrated zenphoto and Word Press scripting with my site. In doing the upgrade, I added PHP and mysql scripting to my web design tool kit.
Read about my new site in my latest blog entry.
Any and all feedback is appreciated, so let me know what you think.
